Gaming

I have recently fixed my Playstation 2. It had a worn out Laser lens for the disc reader. I have alrighty played some Final Fantasy X. This game brings back some memories for sure. Story is good so far. Looking forward to playing all of the other classics I have.

I did recently got Forza Horizon 4, which is an incredible game and is the best the Horizon game yet. Everything flows good and lots of stuff to do.

My upcoming games to get is Red Dead Redemption 2 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Most likely have to get them on discount. Knowing me or influence from Twitch will get a regular price.

Summer's end

Now that summer is gone now and fall and winter is upon us the Camaro has gone into storage. I managed to replace the t-top weather stripping, headliner, driver's side seatbelt, and seatbelt receivers. Although I do have to adjust the windows to fit tighter to the t-top glass.

For next year, the plan is to install my Pro 5.0 Shifter. Which will improve the shifting operation and help keep the T-5 from being wrecked on a miss shift.

I would like to install the exhaust cut out too. It's definitely something to have fun with but entirely a necessary to install. Plus new external gauge cluster which has volt, temp, oil pressure which I don't need the oil pressure one. Also the obvious change engine oil and Diff oil (break in oil).

We will see how that goes

Going to be summer again

Summer is approaching and so much stuff to progress in.

A lot of stuff namely the Camaro has not been been put in priority in these number of years. Because of my day job, plus borrowing a garage to do the job, also chores for the coming week.

Other distractions have hurt my motivation lately like Twitch, which is getting to the point now where it is nightly after work and leaks into weekend when I just want to relax. The streamers are nice people and are glad to see that I am in the chat to small talk. What I have to when I get my car out is not show up as often to work on the Camaro. The streamers I think would in effect miss that I am not around as much and appreciate more that I came to chat. Other distrations are the car video guys on YT that film their builds or Test Drive a car. Watching them seems like I am just a fanboy when I have a car sitting and waiting to be fixed.

I will be booking some time off for vacation. But I am not going to wait until that time to start working on it.

What needs done is:

-T-Tops weatherstripping- yes still

-Headliner

-Seatbelts and receivers

-Install 5.0 Shifter

-Install Cutout

-Fix Antifreeze leak, oil leak find where its coming from.

-Install Volt gauge

- CHange the Diff oil (never done since new parts installed)

Actually I have one problem with how to videos from Youtube namely for the Ttops. Two different methods and view points on how its done.

Just going to do the best of my judgement based on research and just do it. Spend some solid time actually doing it not pondering doing little bit here and there. Will have to hand off chores to do for me to free up time or time management.

Weather T-top seals, Work vehicle

Well it is end of August and Camaro seals still not totally replaced, but it is all prepped and ready for it and researched in detail.

One snag I had was the seals that I had bought years back did not fit right when I had test fit before applying sealant as the glass T-Top panels would not fit correctly. So I bought OEM from GM direct site. At this point it is begining of August I test fit the OEM seals and fits much bettter with the Glass T-Top panels in place.

Now I will have to get it replaced as the people I am borrowing their garage is asking about it. Since last year was aright off as well and didnt do hardly much. But this year I actually did alot considering the time I have wasted with different events happening as life with a full time happens.

I will have to find the time which is not much really to clean the work Denali to be traded in or sold before winter as it is getting up km's, plus I dont really have the extra money on hand for new winter tires. I am looking at a new vehicle, then sell the Denali privately. So there is that too.

May have to burn the midnight oil (after a full day of work) to get the seals on.

Plus clean Envoy in evening inbetween work day. And see what dealer can get me for it on trade.

I actually am hoping that we stay steady at my employment since a project I am heading up is nearing its end. Pretty sure I will be ok.

A New Year is born.

Another year has gone by and a fresh start to another one. Project(s) are planned for this new spring-summer year.

One is to get the classic back to the way it is supposed to be for a while now. Complete the T-Tops weatherstripping, new cutout installed, engine bay and interior work. Probably the more important for long term is km's on the Diff components and clutch.

I have taken some time off in June to get most of the repairs hopefully all to get them done providing no other problem arise.

Alot of my time has been split up with my day job plus the will and advisement to get it done with research.

Hopefully there will be a weekend free to get stuff done before the big time off.

Here is a picture from last year.
